MIRPUR (AJK): May 04 (APP):Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq paid rich tribute to the firefighters on International Firefighters Day.
In a message issued on Thursday, the prime minister, while highlighting the services and sacrifices of firefighters, said that it was high time to recall and remember those unsung heroes who sacrificed their own lives while saving others’ lives in the line of duty.
“Firefighters risk their lives to protect people’s lives and property”, he said, adding that firefighters were the heroes of our society who risk their lives to save others’ lives.
